Crochet Rustic Stripes Washcloth Pattern

**Find the PDF pattern for this washcloth and two others in my shop by clicking here. This is a great option for easy printing!**

Hey there!

Today I'm bringing you the last pattern in my washcloth series with the lovely Rustic Stripes Washcloth. You can find the first two patterns here and here.

The pattern for this washcloth is super simple and works up quite quick, so makes a great last-minute gift. I really think this yarn is the perfect fit for it. I love the colors-- they're subtle and natural (it's Oasis in Peaches & Creme).

Just find any cotton worsted weight yarn, an H hook and lets get started!

What you'll need:
Size H (5 mm) hook (a set like this would be perfect for a beginner)
One ball of cotton worsted weight yarn (I used Peaches & Creme in Oasis)
Tapestry needle

Dimensions:

Approximately 9.75x9.5 inches

Abbreviations:
ch=chain, st(s)=stitch(es), sc=single crochet, fpdc=front post double crochet, bpdc=back post double crochet, hdc=half double crochet

Pattern:

ch 36
1) in 2nd ch from hook, sc and across (35 total sts)
2) ch 1, turn, hdc in first 2 sts, fpdc, *hdc in next 4 sts, fpdc, repeat from * 5 times, hdc in last two sts
3) ch 1, turn hdc in first 2 sts, bpdc, *hdc in next 4 sts, bpdc, repeat from * 5 times, hdc in last two sts
4-27) continue to alternate between rows 2 and 3 (last row will be a repeat of row "3")

tie off and weave in ends making multiple passes with your needle, so it can withstand multiple washes!

That's it! Super easy in my opinion, and I love the look..

Have a beautiful day,
Meg
